Disney and Marvel published the first trailer for this Thursday (15th). X-Men ’97which follows the finale of the fifth season of the cartoon, which aired in 1997. The revival will premiere on March 20 on the Disney+ streaming platform.

The previous five seasons are obviously also available on Disney streaming. And the sequel will feature several voice actors from the version that aired in the US 27 years ago. Among them are: Cal Dodd (Wolverine), Lenore Zann (Rogue) and George Buza (Beast).

Disney announced it X-Men ’97 in 2021 and, despite being an old animation, it will be the first from Marvel Studios to feature mutants as protagonists. This new piece of history sees Magneto leading the X-Men (Cyclops, Wolverine, Beast, Jubilee, Storm, Gambit, Jean Gray and Rogue) after the death of Professor Xavier.
The premiere of the animated sequence is close, but not much is known about the project, whose premiere has been postponed several times. In addition to the return of the original voice actors (from the American version), it is known that the showrunner is Beau DeMayo (The witcher) and the new season will have ten episodes.
Until this note was published, Disney had not announced whether it would release new episodes weekly or all at once, as it did in the series Echo recently.
New Fantastic Four
Marvel Studios also released the main cast of the reboot this week Fantastic Four. The group brought the first superheroes created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby to Marvel in November 1961.

Along with the cast announcement, Disney changed the release dates of Fantastic Fournow scheduled for July 25, 2025, and Lightningfor May 2, 2025. These are two of the four major Marvel films scheduled for 2025. The others are: Captain America: Brave New World (February) e Lama (November).
