Cinema Week: tickets throughout Brazil for only R$12

Those who have long been waiting for the opportunity to go to the cinema at a cheaper price can celebrate. The Cinema Week returned in 2024, after the initiative had already achieved success in the previous edition, last year. Tickets for the sessions will cost only R$12.

The initiative, which is now repeated in its fourth edition, is headed by the National Federation of Cinematographic Exhibition Companies (FENEEC). The promotional value is a single price, to which the half price benefits are not applied.

The action will take place from February 22 to 28 and also includes promotional prices for popcorn and soft drinks. Most of the accessible sessions will be in 2D, but possibly, depending on the program of each cinema, 3D sessions may also be included.

Participating cinemas:

The cinemas indicated below have already confirmed their participation in the Cinema Week. To find out which films and screenings have promotional value in your city, simply consult the websites of these cinemas with the complete calendar of days on which the action will be valid.

“This is the fourth edition of the event, whose main objective is to celebrate the presence of the public and further democratize access to the magic that only the cinematic experience offers,” said Lúcio Otoni, president of FENEEC.

FENEEC also states that Film Week, in 2023, saw more than 10 million people visit cinemas across the country. Believing that high ticket prices drive a large part of the public away from the big screen, the institution believes in strengthening actions to increasingly democratize access to cinema.
