In countdown number 2, Netflix has just released a new scene from “Avatar: The Last Airbender“.
The clip, made available on the foreign site IGNshows Prince Zuko (Dallas Liu), of the Fire Nation, saving his uncle Iroh (Paul Sun-Hyung Lee) from the hands of the Earthbenders.

Yes, the special effects are wonderful! The platform has already released the first two episodes to some media outlets and the reception has been very positive.
The story is well told and the characters are charismatic. The only downside is that the narrative seems a bit sped up, especially for those who have seen the original cartoon. But nothing that gets in the way of having fun.
Avatar: The Last Airbender should join the select list of good live-actions, along with One Piece.
The series will premiere on February 22, next Thursday, on Netflix.

Cast and future of the series
The cast sees Gordon Cormier (Lost in Space) in the title role of Aang, while Kiawentiio Tarbell (Anne with an E) plays Katara and Ian Ousley (13 Reasons Why) plays Sokka.

We remind you that the original cartoon has three seasons, for a total of 61 episodes.
Netflix has adapted, for now, the first narrative arc, distributing 8 episodes of about an hour each.
The streaming platform has not yet confirmed whether the series will continue. It will depend on the public’s reception.
