Scenes in space reminiscent of Gravity, a series of Constellations on Apple TV+

Swedish Noomi Rapace is no stranger to space. After playing Elizabeth Shaw in Ridley Scott’s Prometheus – the prequel to Aliens – the actress dons the spacesuit once again for Constellation, a very different space adventure.

A crazy special series

Here he plays Joe, an astronaut on a mission who, after a serious accident that results in the death of one of his teammates, returns to Earth to be close to the people he loves. If it escapes unscathed, something is wrong. The scientist is subject to many disorders: he has hallucinations, hears voices and develops amazing abilities.

From its first episode, Constellation develops several ways to immerse the audience in the fog. Is this a character who descends into madness and terrible manipulation? It is in this constant uncertainty that the story goes to play better on its audience.

Human psychology tested in space

Between drama, thriller, science fiction – and even a few touches of horror -, Constellation takes its somewhat complicated plot – I recommend not paying attention. One of the main plot lines focuses on how the atmosphere of space can change human psychology. An interesting topic that should appeal to fans of the genre.

As with all of its series, Apple TV+ does not skimp on resources. The space scenes are impressive – some even have gravity echoes – and the special effects are of high quality. All of this carried by Noomi Rapace, who delivers a convincing performance as usual. It remains to be seen if constellation Do not lose your audience in doubt.
