Serpro, a federal government information technology company, offered biometric facial recognition equipment to national and international delegates attending Brazil’s first G20 ministerial meeting, held in Rio de Janeiro this week.
Biometric recognition follows the standard already used in electronic boarding at various airports in the country, which allows passengers to board planes without presenting any type of documentation.
“This technology makes life easier for everyone, as personal validation is faster, ensuring security with effective monitoring,” explained Alexandre Ávila, Superintendent of Digital Government Customer Relations.
