Two months of martial arts to get those abs: This actor transforms in trailer for action movie Boy Kills World

Mix The Raid and arcade fighting games Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter And you get Boy Kills World.

The trailer for Moritz Mohr’s action flick has been revealed and it promises to be both crazy and violent. In Boy Kills World, Bill Skarsgård plays Boy, a deaf and mute young man with a vivid imagination whose family is murdered.

The little boy is then tutored by a mysterious shaman (Yayan Ruhian), who trains him to become a powerful killing machine to take revenge on the family of thugs who killed his parents. As an adult, he joins the group and is inspired by the arcade video games he played as a child to fight. The result offers a delicious mix of crazy action packed with clues.

The future hero of The Crow is here accompanied by Yayan Rouhian, Jessica Roth, Michelle Dockery, Isaiah Mustafa, Andrew Codge, Sharlto Copley and Famke Janssen.

Training 2 months

For the purpose of the feature film, Bill Skarsgård underwent intense training with fight coordinator and stuntman David Satarsky (Kingsman, Black Widow). Two months of martial arts and intense physical training were required to sculpt the actor’s body.

In May 2022, the actor told EW:It was an incredible journey into something completely new for me. I had two months to learn how to fake a good fight. Dawe Szatarski is a magician and he can pull it off. Abs, I credit them to another wizard, my trainer Valdemar Fredrickson.”

“You’ve never seen an actor move like that in a movie.”

A member of the film’s technical crew told EW that David Satarsky and Bill Skarsgård developed a “unique movement style,” before adding that the actor’s height (6’1″) “helped establish him as an unconventional action star. You’ve never seen an actor move like that in a movie.”

The release date has not been announced yet.

Bill Skarsgård will star in the remake Ყav From June 5, she will play the vampire Nosferatu alongside Lily-Rose Depp and Willem Dafoe in Robert Eggers’ feature film. He will then join Andrew Niccol’s sequel to the 2005 film Lords of War, for which he will share the poster with Nicolas Cage.
