The striker is on loan at Furacão until the end of 2024
Less than a month after being loaned from Flamengo to Atletico-PR, striker Petterson could return to Rubro-Negro.
Petterson has committed acts of indiscipline and will be removed from the Hurricane. The player will train separately from the rest of Atletico’s squad and the Paraná club’s board of directors is considering bringing him back to Flamengo. The information comes from journalist Monique Vilela.
The 20-year-old arrived at Atletico on a season-long loan and the agreement with Rubro-Negro includes a purchase option clause with a fixed value of three million euros (R$16 million at the current price). Gonzalo Mastriani’s reserve at Furacão, Petterson scored on his debut for the club, against Londrina.
The 20-year-old forward has a contract with Flamengo until the end of 2027 and a fine of 100 million euros (R$533.6 million at current prices). Barcelona also expressed interest in signing the youngster, but conversations have not progressed.
