A More Beautiful Life: Babette goes on a mission to find out what really happened in the apartment across the street

In last Friday’s episode of Plus belle la vie, even plus belle, Patrick Nebue (Jérôme Bertin) witnessed a crime. Looking out the window, he actually saw a woman lying on the ground, her chest covered in blood.

Unfortunately, no one wants to believe the policeman. Jean-Paul Boher (Stephane Hannon) and Samuel (Inaki Lartigue) actually went to the neighbors of the Nebut family and discovered that Cecilia Lopez, played by Delphine Chaneac, was indeed alive.

He also explained to the police that the gunshot heard by Patrick must have come from the series he was watching. Jean-Paul, Babette (Marie Reasche) and Leah are convinced: Patrick is a victim of hallucinations.

But the policeman, who is convinced that he witnessed the murder, is not ready to give up and continues his investigation. And in this Thursday, February 29 episode, he discovers that the red carpet on which the body of the murdered woman was placed has disappeared.

However, this is clearly presented in the apartment rental advertisement. He had no doubt that Cecilia and Maxime had moved the body in the carpet. He then tells Babette about his hypothesis. And the nurse seems to be convinced of her husband’s theories.

Babette helps Patrick with his investigation

But there is no one there. Patrick continues to encourage her. He’s trained, he’s going to get there. He just needs to concentrate. Babette finally manages to break into the apartment.

At this point, we don’t yet know what Babette will discover in this apartment. But one thing is for sure, Maxime and Cecilia are behaving very suspiciously. At the end of this Wednesday’s episode, Luna will definitely find something shiny under the couch of the two partners.

Cecilia rushes to retrieve the item and convinces Luna that it is the ring she lost. In the final seconds, the audience discovers that Cecilia lied and that it was the bullet that caught Luna’s attention. That’s why Cecilia and Maxime would kill someone…
