In Spain, police have arrested a person suspected of making racist insults at an eight-year-old girl who was wearing a shirt of striker Vinicius Junior.
The suspect is a fan of Atlético de Madrid, one of Real’s biggest rivals, and the attacks allegedly took place near the Metropolitano, the Rojiblancos’ stadium.
In an interview with Spanish radio SER, the aunt of the young fan of the Brazilian player revealed that the man, not satisfied with the insults, made death threats.
Real Madrid became aware of the episode and invited the child and his family to watch the capital team’s match at the Santiago Bernabéu. The young girl met the athletes of the squad, including Vini Jr., and she received an autographed shirt. .
