Thirty years after the events of the first film, blade runner K (Ryan Gosling) discovers a secret that could shake what’s left of society. The discovery leads him on a mission that appears to be connected to Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), the blade runner from the previous film.

Action film and crime thriller, “Sicario” brings a “naturalistic” flavor approach.
The film follows an FBI agent (Emily Blunt) recruited by a US government task force to help fight a drug cartel on the Mexican border.

He teams up with a CIA agent (Josh Brolin) and a mysterious consultant (Benicio del Toro).

Sci-fi acclaimed by audiences and critics, “Arrival” received 8 Oscar nominations and won a statuette. The film stars Amy Adams, Jeremy Renner and Forest Whitaker.
In the plot, a renowned linguist (Amy Adams) is recruited by the US armies to decipher the form of communication of a race of aliens who have arrived on Earth.

Canadian production, “Incêndios” is an adaptation of the play of the same name written by Wajdi Mouawad. The film follows two twins who, after their mother’s death, receive two letters posthumously.
They have the task of bringing the letters to their father and another brother whom they have never met in the Middle East, in their mother’s homeland. There they witness a brutal civil war.

The film was nominated for the Oscar for best foreign film in the 2011 edition.

Sequel to “Dune” (2021), this film also adapts the first book of the science fiction novel series of the same name written by Frank Herbert. “Dune: Part 2” concludes the events of the 1965 book begun by the previous film.
The film follows protagonist Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) as he teams up with Chani (Zendaya) and the Fremen people to wage war on the Harkonnen.
