Just officially, what is known about the third Deadpool film and his debut in the MCU?
What is the story of Deadpool and Wolverine?
Officially, Marvel Studios, responsible for the production and release of the film, did not even release its synopsis, leaving everything they had to say about its story in the first trailer.
Deadpool clearly doesn’t ignore the mercenary’s first two theatrical adventures, as he introduces much of his supporting cast in the first few moments of the video, with the companions celebrating Wade Wilson’s birthday. It is possible to note some absences, such as Cable and Domino, played by Josh Brolin (Avengers: Infinity War) and Zazie Beetz (Joker), who were present Deadpool 2 and their participation in this sequence has not been confirmed.

Emma Corrin (The crown) apparently plays Cassandra Nova, Charles Xavier’s twin sister, while Matthew Macfadyen (Succession) is a TVA agent who recruits Deadpool for his mission.
But fans want to know the possible surprises of the film, which could serve as a tribute to the years of Marvel films on Fox. The presence of Hugh Jackman in the film already guarantees more actors who have been part of the X-Men, but according to actor Karan Soni, without naming names, several notable people visited the sets of the film in London.
In July 2023, publications such as Variety and The Hollywood Reporter stated that Jennifer Garner would appear in the film, reprising the role of Elektra, which she had played in Daredevil – The Man Without Fear and in his solo film. This opens the door for several special appearances, something that is highly anticipated by fans.
Of all these special appearances, one of the most unexpected was revealed already in the first trailer, that of actor Aaron Stanford, an actor who played the mutant Pyro in X-Men 2 AND X-Men 3: The Last Stand. Besides him, Ryan Reynolds has already done it confirmed on his Instagram that we will see variations of Deadpool in the film, the only one revealed will be Dogpool, the canine version of the hero.
