
American pay channel AMC has announced that comedy legend Carol Burnett (“Crazy About You”) will make a guest appearance in the sixth and final season of “Better Call Saul”. The 89-year-old actress, who names a special Golden Globes trophy, will play a character named Marion, but there are no other details about her entry into the plot.
“I am thrilled to be a part of my favorite show,” Burnett said in a statement.
News of the actress’s appearance comes on the heels of confirmation that Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul will reprise their iconic roles as Walter White and Jesse Pinkman in the final stretch of the series.
Developed by Vince Gilligan, the creator of “Breaking Bad”, and Peter Gold, who introduced the character of Saul Goodman in that attraction, “Better Call Saul” is a prologue to “Breaking Bad” that reveals how the lawyer of the title has become such a choose. .
The series tells the story of the character played by Bob Odenkirk, who lost his career and fortune at the end of “Breaking Bad”.
