Animation celebrated by many fans, Shrek 2 was released in 2004, which means it will turn 20 in 2024. And to celebrate the date, the film will return to U.S. theaters in April, for one week. Now you can see the announcement of the premiere on the American website of Cinemark.
It has been confirmed by Universal Pictures, which released the film theatrically two decades ago and will do so again, that screenings will begin April 12 and run for a week.
In the American dub, cartoon characters were voiced by famous actors. Shrek was voiced by actor Mike Myers, Fiona was voiced by Cameron Diaz, Donkey was voiced by Eddie Murphy, and Puss in Boots was voiced by Antonio Banderas.
In the Brazilian dub, always very competent (and, largely responsible for the success of the franchise in Brazil), Shrek was voiced by comedian Bussunda.
