A Nicer Life: “I think we have it this time”… Patrick finally finds evidence against Maxime

It’s been a few weeks in Plus belle la vie, even in Plus Belle, that Patrick Nebue (Jérôme Bertin) investigates his new neighbors. A police officer under house arrest due to an injury is actually convinced that he witnessed the murder in their apartment.

And the further his investigation progresses, the more incriminating discoveries he makes. If his relatives were skeptical at first, they gradually became convinced. Jean-Paul Boher (Stephane Hannon) is now on the case as he discovers a charred body wrapped in carpet in the back of a van.

The victim’s name was Martin Catherine Dominique Maile. It was the sister of Florence Maile, the woman who drowned three years ago… and who was none other than Maxime’s (Renault Leymans) wife.

Suddenly, the police arrested the director of the non-governmental organization for questioning. Unfortunately, due to lack of evidence, Cecilia (Delphine Shaneac) and Maxime are released. But Patrick is not ready to give up. And he will make a new discovery.

Patrick finds evidence against Maxime

He actually sees the latter holding a brooch. The item that belonged to the woman was found in the van and that Patrick saw on Cecilia. He immediately takes photos and calls Jean-Paul to give him the information.

Patrick then explains to her that Maxime is home and that he has the brooch in his hand. His stepmother asks if he’s sure it’s really Martin Mayley’s, but Patrick doesn’t doubt it. “I took a photo of this brooch, I know it by heart,” he replies, before adding:I think we have this time“.

In turn, Maxime explains to Luna that he doesn’t understand how the brooch could have ended up there. Martin Maile never strayed from the object. “Do you think Cecilia had anything to do with his death?Luna asks him. Maxim does not know.

Does Maxim hold Cecilia?

Maxime’s answer to Luna’s question suggests that he is setting a trap for Cecilia. The latter is indeed becoming more and more invasive and jealous. Maxime must surely want to get rid of him by being accused in his place.

A hypothesis supported by the statement of Delphine Shaneac, who explained in an interview that “The worst thing is not what we think“. Is Cecilia being manipulated by Maxime just like Luna? Will the police manage to catch the couple? Answer Plus belle la vie in the next episodes, even plus belle.
