On the night of the meeting of Adenízia and Osasco São Cristóvão Saúde at the José Liberatti, the team from Sao Paulo hosted Dentil Praia Clube (17) this Sunday and needed only one victory in a set to confirm second place overall in the Superliga before of the playoffs. Osasco São Cristóvão Saúde played a match just enough to confirm second place and ended up making many errors in the decisive moment, while its rival played a perfect match winning by 3 sets to 2, with the opponent’s highlight Tainara.
Dentil Praia Clube started the match very aggressively on serve and managed to destabilize Osasco São Cristóvão Saúde: without a pass in hand, Giovana found herself without the possibility of taking the first ball and the distribution was not up to par. Thus, the Minas Gerais team made fewer errors and overwhelmed the hosts in the first set: 25 to 15. In the second set, Luizomar de Moura corrected the errors of the Osaskan team and the lead on the scoreboard changed sides . Giovanna’s distribution improved and with the first effective ball, Osasco São Cristóvão took a lead of 25 to 21 in the second half.

And in the fourth set Dentil Praia Clube had to regroup on the pitch to win the set once again. Russian Sofya Kuznetsova was the main name of the rematch, however Tainara was named MVP of the game for her performance in the earlier stages. In Osasco, Luizomar de Moura’s team made many mistakes after securing second place and lost the set 25-20.
