São Paulo met its opponents in the Libertadores 2024, after the draw that took place on Monday (18), at the headquarters of Conmebol, in Paraguay.
The most anticipated match of the group will be the meeting with Talleres. This is because the Argentine team eliminated the Tricolor in the preliminary phase of the 2019 continental tournament, an episode that left a negative impression on the Sao Paulo fans.
The modest Cobresal represents the least technical threat to the Libertadores’ Sao Paulo, but the grueling journey and the altitude work in their favor. The Chilean stadium is located between the Andes and the Atacama desert, where travel is considered difficult, as well as being at 2,300 meters above sea level.
Despite having been a prominent figure in the last editions of the tournament, Barcelona is not going through a great phase in the local championship, having won one, drawn one and lost one.

San Paolo is the third Brazilian club with the longest trips in the Libertadores, behind only Flamengo and Botafogo respectively. The Tricolore will travel approximately 19 thousand km on trips to Argentina, Chile and Ecuador.
