A series that has nothing to do with Bridgerton

With The Gentlemen, Guy Ritchie takes familiar themes such as the world of aristocracy and the world of gangsters, and always adds his own very different touch and style. Obviously, his colorful characters needed lavish settings.

And on the estate of Eddie Horniman and his family, the choice stopped at the Duke of Beaufort’s Badminton estate in Gloucestershire, United Kingdom. Except that the aristocrat, who rented his house for the purpose of filming, was waiting for a completely different kind of fiction on his land!

“His whole family was there. They looked at us with disapproval as we all ran around in chicken costumes and called them ‘fools’.”Theo explained to James variety, “They weren’t excited at all, they thought it was going to be Bridgerton.”.

Admittedly, there is a world of difference between The Gentlemen and Bridgerton, the costume series produced by Shonda Rhimes. Therefore, the Duke of Beaufort must have been very surprised by the chaotic filming of Guy Ritchie’s series, which has a series of twists and turns, each one crazier than the last.
