69-year-old Denzel Washington is one of the most popular and recognized actors in the history of cinema. The artist has appeared in over sixty films since his debut in the late 1970s.
The New Yorker won 2 Oscars. The first was given to him in 1990 by Edward Zwick for his intense performance in Glory. After that statue for Best Supporting Actor, Denzel won the top award in 2002 for Best Actor for his high-energy role as a corrupt cop in Training Day, directed by Antoine Fuqua.

Spike is back!
The latest project in which the actor is involved: High and Low. It is a remake of Akira Kurosawa’s film Between Heaven and Hell. Denzel will meet another accomplice there, director Spike Lee. Their association produced several cinematic masterpieces in the 90s.
Spike Lee and Denzel Washington made 4 classic films together, including the biopic Malcolm X and the college basketball drama He Got Game. Denzel also starred in Mo’ Better Blues in 1990. Their last collaboration was in the 2006 heist film Inside Man.
After 18 long years, the duo prepares to reunite on the set of Kurosawa’s Between Heaven and Hell remake. This Japanese feature film, made in 1963, tells the story of a man working in a shoe factory who is faced with the kidnapping of his son. However, a series of twists will question the moral sense of the latter.
