Flamengo fan, Jorge Ben Jor turns 85 this Friday
Jorge Ben Jor, one of the biggest names in Brazilian music, turns 85 this Friday (22). Rossonero at heart, he received a tribute from Flamengo. To congratulate the singer, the Rio club recreated some covers of Jorge Ben’s music albums. Three players participated in the arts: Gabigol, Bruno Henrique and Igor Jesus.
Gabigol was the model in the reconstruction of the 1969 album “Jorge Ben”. In the image, the musician repeats the singer’s pose, while holding a guitar. The illustration, in fact, features images of Zico, Júnior, Adílio and Adriano Imperador, other Rossoneri idols.
The album, in fact, contains a song that mentions Flamengo in its lyrics. “País Tropical”, one of the album’s main tracks, says: “I’m Flamengo and I have a girlfriend called Teresa”.
