MonsterVerse continues to grow. The next episode is titled ‘Godzilla and Kong: The New Empire’, where the famous movie monsters come together to end a common threat.
While it’s common for certain characters not to return to the franchise, some fans have noticed that the film’s credits, on sites like IMDb, don’t list a famous actress who had a major role.

Fans of this new cinematic saga have noticed that the name of an important character played by Millie Bobby Brown is missing from the film’s credits: Madison Russell.
Millie Bobby Brown played Madison, the daughter of Dr. Mark Russell (Kyle Chandler), in “Godzilla II: King of the Monsters” (2019) and “Godzilla VS Kong” (2021), which played a crucial role in the franchise.
Let’s remember that in the movie “Godzilla vs. Kong’, Madison joins Apex Cybernetics to fight Godzilla, believing him to be the real threat. However, at the end of the movie, she changes her mind and helps Godzilla and Kong defeat Mechagodzilla, so the writers could consider that her story in the MonsterVerse ended there.
Because the new film will focus on a new threat to the Titans, it’s possible that production members decided that Madison’s return was not necessary, although many fans expected her return in the new chapter of this story.
The surprise is even greater when you consider that Kyle Chandler is also not in the credits, nor does he appear in the trailers, as is Vera Farmniiga, who played paleontologist Emma Russell.
In the MonsterVerse, it is common for some actors to no longer return, as happened in 2014 with “Godzilla”, since in subsequent installments we did not see Bryan Cranston, Elizabeth Olsen and Aaron Taylor-Johnson again.
