Hortense and Vicky face the death of their father
The day before, Daniel Rochemont suddenly collapsed in front of his daughters. They spent the night in the hospital. In the morning, their mother Eugene finds them and offers to hold them so they can go and rest. But at the same time, the doctor comes and tells him that Daniel is dead. Although Vicky collapses, Hortense remains unscathed.
At the institute, while Guino was ready to give lessons to Hortense, the latter decides to go back and do it herself. Among the students, Carla and Leonard are curious about his presence given the circumstances. Tom then arrives to warn Hortense that they have a problem with Vic in the dining room.
In Double A, Hortense finds her sister leaning on a chair, holding a coat that her father left at the restaurant. Students give them privacy. Hortense comforts her crying sister.
Vicki then goes to rest in her room at the boarding house. Maya backs up, then leaves with Enzo. Vicky starts crying again. Her boyfriend is next to her.
Hortense, on the other hand, arranges for her father’s funeral, which will take place the next day. Mehdi is with her when Clotilda comes to offer her condolences. But Hortense is mostly focused on work, in this case the upcoming marriage of Clotilde and Joachim, which she still wants to take care of.
Meanwhile, Anthony invites Eugenia to coffee. If the latter is very impressed by Hortense’s strength, the young man emphasizes the danger of her behavior, which is more like a defense mechanism. When Vicky joins them, Anthony leaves them.
He goes to the kitchen where Hortense is working. Anthony tries to break through her shell by talking about Danielle, saying that she’s always been proud of her oldest daughter. Gradually, Hortense ends up breaking down and crying. Anthony grabs her…
Anais lures Jasmine to her case
At the atelier, Jim and Thibaut present their dish to Anais, admitting that they didn’t really work to create it. After tasting it, Anais declares that lamb is highly anticipated for the Easter menu. She suggests they find something more original for the afternoon.
Once alone, Jimmy and Thibault agree that Anais is crazy. They found some complicity by imagining a plate that combined what the young chef hates most: blue meat and galangal sauce. Meanwhile, Jasmine arrives to see how they are doing.
After which Jasmine finds Anais in the park and confides in her that Jimmy and Thibault are annoyed by her directives. Anais then explains to Jasmine the strategy for their reconciliation and then asks her to join his cause.
Back at the atelier, Anais tastes a plate suggested by Jimmy and Thibault: beef with galangal. He congratulates them on their work. After approving their dish, he asks them to work on the starters as well as the dessert offering for the next day. Both boys complain about such a load. Anais replies that if necessary, they will have to sacrifice the weekend. Meanwhile, Jasmine texts Jim to warn him that her weekend plans are being cancelled.
Zachary prepares a surprise for Laetitia
At the park, Laetitia complains about Zachary’s lack of romance with Kelly. Just then, the latter arrives to tell her that the next day she is going to have a surprise – one that could change her life.
During the day, Carla and Berenice surprise Joakim and Zacharias and congratulate each other. The two young girls immediately assume that Zachary is going to propose to Laetitia.
Later, in the cafeteria, Carla lets Leticia and Kelly, who are sitting at the table next to her, overhear Zachary preparing a marriage proposal.
