“Stronger Than I Imagined”: This movie is coming out in 10 days and will leave you speechless!

After Halloween and The Exorcist, another horror classic gets a makeover: Cursed. With one difference, because if the previous two sagas were allowed to continue, it would be a prequel to the Richard Donner film released in 1976, in which the United States ambassador to London realizes that his son is nothing more than reincarnation. Antichrist.

18 years after John Moore’s hilarious remake, the horror franchise returns to our theaters on April 10. Directed by Arkasha Stevenson, who has previously worked on Legion, Channel Zero, and Brand New Cherry Flavor. And we’ll obviously have to remember his name, given the film’s early positive reviews.

(“Okay. That’s something Curse: Origin. Terrifying, with an incredible performance Nell Tiger freeAnd one of the best horror pictures I’ve seen in a long time. Many very inspired scenes and choices. I really liked it.”)

(“Curse: Origins blew me away. A very insightful and disturbing look at sexual abuse in the Catholic Church, while maintaining the tension of the original film. This is the religious horror film I’ve been waiting for. Extremely disgusting. Regards Possession Which I give 10/10.”)

(“Curse: Origins is pretty effective. The pacing is a little slow in the first half, but as the story unfolds, there are some pretty disturbing and wild moments—including one shot that I’m surprised to see. It’s a movie, and it’s so crazy to see the audience applaud. Nell Tiger Fry’s really great in it.”)

A very thoughtful and disturbing look at sexual abuse in the Catholic Church, while maintaining the tension of the original film.

(“I wasn’t expecting much from The Curse: The Origin, but it’s a decent prequel to Richard Donner’s 1976 classic. Great sound design and cinematography. With some freaking good moments.”)

(“Curse: Origin is a mixture Rosemary’s Baby and A tale of needlework. It’s disturbing and dark. It looks more like a European movie than a Hollywood production. Nell Tiger Free is fascinating. Although it’s been a while since I’ve seen the 1976 film, I remember it.”)

The Curse: The Origin is a cross between Rosemary’s Baby and The Handmaid’s Tale.

(“Curse: Origins hits harder than I imagined. The vicious and ruthless Arkasha Stevenson has created a brilliant nightmare that will push you to the limits. Nell Tiger Free also offers one of my favorite performances of the year.”)

(“Curse: Origins: Holy Hell! I expected such a macabre and unrepentant horror film from a small studio, not Fox. Graphic, macabre, and with a strong homage to Possession.”)

It’s a little uneven and predictable, but when it hits, it hits hard

(“The 1976 version of The Curse contained some scary and controversial scenes, The Origin raises the bar even higher. The film is a worthy prequel to the original. It’s scary, weird, and disturbing. One scene is sure to get people talking.”)

(“The Curse: The Origins is pretty solid. Exciting and intense, with a nice little mystery too. It finds its way back to the original in a way that’s expected and unexpected. A little uneven and predictable, but when it hits, it hits hard. Not recommended for the faint of heart or fragile stomach for humans.”)

Starring Bill Nighy, Charles Dance and Ralph Ineson alongside Nell Tiger Free and published by Servant Series, The Curse: The Origin hits theaters on April 10.
