Friday, March 29, everything starts here…

Hortense finds Anthony’s support

At the Institute, Hortense asks Mehdi to choose a wreath for her father’s funeral because she can’t afford it. Mehdi regrets that it is not hydrangea season. This makes Hortens cry. Mehdi blames himself for her crying. Hortense explains that she has gotten over the shock and that she is allowing herself to fall apart because it feels good.

Then the young woman goes to the kitchen to prepare the funeral buffet. Clotilda, Claire, as well as Malik, Leonard and Maya come to lend her a hand. Hortense is very touched.

A little later, Vicki thanks her sister for organizing her father’s funeral. Hortense admits that it allows her to keep her sanity. Anthony interrupts them to give Hortense the funeral booklets. If Vicky thinks she’s doing too much, Hortense thinks her approach is sincere. He also confides in his sister that it was thanks to her that he was able to say what was on his heart.

The Rochemont girls find their mother in a boarding house. After reflection, Eugene does not feel justified in giving a speech at her ex-husband’s funeral. Since Vicky doesn’t feel like she can do it, Hortense volunteers.

She begins to write a speech with Mehdi. Dissatisfied with what she wrote, she asks her husband to read her opinion. However, the latter sees fit to discover him at the ceremony along with everyone else. Hortense replies that this speech is very important to her, considering the last words she exchanged with her father. In the absence of her husband’s support, Hortense turns to Anthony.

She meets him in the amphitheater to read his speech, which she finds perfect. However, he emphasizes that this is not the most important thing. She remembers the time Daniel laughed when he offered to return the lobster to the sea while at a seafood restaurant. Hortense remembers his laugh. Anthony says it’s the self-image we need to value. Hortense agrees with him.

While everyone goes to the cemetery, Mehdi feels sick. He confides in Enzo that he has a phobia about funerals due to the leukemia he had as a child. In addition, he does not feel that he can cope with his wife’s distress. Enzo encourages him to overcome his fear.

As agreed, Hortense speaks in honor of her father’s memory. It has been moved. A little further back, Mehdi tries to take over, but ends up giving up…

Laetitia is disappointed

At the park, Laetitia confides in Kelly that Zachary arranged for her to meet at the place where they had their first ice cream together. He adds that he found a guest list in one of his jacket pockets. Therefore, Laetitia has no doubts: her companion asks for her hand.

During the meeting, Laetitia and Zachary eat ice cream and recall pleasant memories. As he drops to one knee, Laetitia is taken aback and answers “yes.” However, he noticed that his companion was simply playing with his shoelaces.

Getting up, Zachary realizes that there has been a misunderstanding. In fact, she wanted to show him how to open her own luxury pastry shop. As for the guest list found by Laetitia, these were the guests of the inauguration evening.

Letitia cannot hide her disappointment. He states that their relationship is not progressing and they have no plans together before leaving Zakaria.

Judy realizes her feelings

In Léonine, Judy and Lionel are super stressed as their assessment approaches. Judy also begs Matteo not to play Teissier’s game to avoid any disaster.

Teissier and Listrak arrive at the restaurant together. The trio sits down at their table, then hands out menus as other customers arrive. Mateo manages to keep calm.

At the end of the service, Listrac announces to his students that they have fulfilled their promise, giving them an 18/20. Teissier also compliments them.

Lionel and Judy are relieved to have a roommate. However, the latter realizes that he, or rather, Mateo, will miss this project. Lionel encourages his partner to reconnect with the young man.

So Jude arranges for Mateo to meet in a discreet corner of the swamps. He says he wants to be with her and respects the fact that he’s not ready to come out. In fact, he would rather see her secretly than not see her at all. Same with Mateo. they kiss
