Samsung begins rolling out One UI 6.1 in Brazil with Galaxy AI for Galaxy S23, Z Flip 5 and other 2023 mobile phones and tablets
A SAMSUNG has started shipping One UI 6.1 in Brazil. From this Friday (29th), the Galaxy S23 (including the S23 FE), Z Flip 5 and other mobile phones and tablets will be updated to the new version of Software. The highlight of the package revolves around Galaxy AI, which takes advantage of the artificial intelligence capabilities of Galaxy S24 to models launched in 2023.

One UI 6.1 in Brazil
The update was released in Brazil a day later international debut. “Galaxy AI will be gradually available on devices starting from Friday 29 March, through the One UI interface update to version 6.1,” reads a press release from the manufacturer.
The process began with mobile phones and tablets introduced during 2023 compatible with Galaxy AI, such as the Galaxy S23, S23+, S23 Ultra and S23 FE. You Galaxy Z Flip 5Z Fold 5, Tab S9, Tab S9+ and Tab S9 Ultra have also started to be updated in this first wave.
The expectation is that other models that have received One UI 6.0, like the Galaxy S22, A54 and Tab S9 FE, will be awarded in the coming weeks. However, other devices will not receive the Galaxy AI of the Galaxy S24. Samsung also did not provide a schedule for rolling out the update in Brazil.
How to update to One UI 6.1
In general, Samsung sends a notification to let you know if a new update is available. If the warning appeared on Your mobile phone or tablet, follow the instructions and install One UI 6.1. If not, you can perform a manual check:
- Open your phone or tablet settings;
- Go to “Software Update”;
- Tap “Download and Install”;
- Wait for the verification to complete;
- If available, install the update.
What’s new in One UI 6.1?
OR Galaxy AI, with generative photo editing, real-time conversation and call translation, voice recorder transcription, and the like, is the big star of the update. But this is not the only new feature of One UI 6.1. Find out what’s new in the update:
