Furacão debuts in the competition next Tuesday (2), away from home, against Sportivo Ameliano, a team from Assunção, Paraguay
Atletico have announced the 50 players selected for the Copa Sudamericano. In addition to the members of the main team, 19 athletes from the under 20 category were registered. Therefore, the average age of the group is 22 years, with only four players being over 30 years old.
In short, Fernandinho, Thiago Heleno, Madson and Pablo are the most experienced among the six goalkeepers, seven defenders, eight full-backs, 16 midfielders and 13 forwards. Finally, the technical team still has the possibility to make substitutions throughout the competition.
In fact, Atletico’s participation in the South American Championship will begin on Tuesday (2), against Sportivo Ameliano, in Paraguay. The team is in Group F, where it also faces Danubio (Uruguay) and Rayo Zuliano (Venezuela).
