Among the little pack, the two film stars had a pet: a dog with a broken leg named Gladiator – alongside them in Morocco filming the sequel to Ridley Scott’s cult film. “He had no chance to survive, but we saved him, he was adopted, the actor is happy. Today it is working very well.”
The good side of social networks
For other dogs, some were returned to France, others were cared for by associations and adopted in Morocco. But as they were preparing to leave the country after filming, Frank Gastambide and Anna Girardo learned that the puppies had been abandoned by a garbage can. “The people said to themselves, “There is a Frenchman who takes care of the dogs, we will put them in a box.” And they were dehydrated in direct sunlight.”
