To celebrate the fortieth anniversary of the release of “Blade Runner”, we return to this cult monument of SF, with a quiz on the whole world of film.

On June 25, 1982, forty years ago, Blade Runner was released in the United States, a film that was to become one of the pinnacles of science fiction cinema, and joined the works of this pantheon, such as Alien or 2001: A. The Space Odyssey.

The film is an adaptation Do androids dream of electric sheep? Writer Philip K. Dick, one of the greatest science fiction writers of the 60s and 70s who has repeatedly adapted into cinema, be it Steven Spielberg with a minority report, Paul Verhoeven with a total recollection, or even a slightly more confidential recording by Richard Linklater with A Scanner Dark.

blade runner Involved is former police officer Rick Deckard, who must return to work to track down a group of androids led by the troublesome Roy Butt. Starring Harrison Ford, the actor in then-full blast, who has just come out of the huge hits of Star Wars and Indiana Jones. In front of him are actors Sean Young and Daryl Hanna and a particularly charismatic Rutger Hower Dutch actor who delivers a concluding monologue that has become a legend of SF.
