“007” producer Barbara Broccoli has revealed that it will take “at least 2 years” for a new James Bond to hit the scene.
In an interview with Deadline, the producer offered some updates on the franchise, which is among the most famous in the world. Broccoli, in fact, said that the search for Daniel Craig’s replacement has not yet begun because it is “a reinvention of Bond”.
“Nobody runs. We are trying to figure out where to go with him, we are talking about it. There’s no script and we can’t get there until we decide how we’re going to approach the next movie, because it’s really a reinvention of Bond, ”he continued.
Finally, Broccoli has given a very long deadline for the start of filming for the next film in the franchise, which indicates that we will have a relatively large gap between Daniel Craig’s last appearance as James Bond and the debut of his successor. “We are reinventing who he is and that takes time.
