The Chosen – The Chosen, is a series from the United States that follows the story of Jesus Christ and his followers. The series’ production primarily used crowdfunding on the Angel Studios platform to finance its production, making it the most successful film or television series project in crowdfunding history. According to the producers, the series has already been watched by more than 580 million people in 197 countries.
The third season of the series aired in February 2023 and there is a lot of speculation about when the sequel to the series, with its fourth season, will be available.
“The Chosen” Season 4 Premiere on Netflix
As of now, there are no plans for Season 4 to arrive on Netflix or any other streaming service.
The first episodes of the fourth season initially premiered in theaters, an idea conceived by series creator Dallas Jenkins. He believes it is essential that the film premieres in theaters to ensure fans can get the most out of it, immersing themselves in a season full of pivotal moments from the Bible, such as the death of John the Baptist and the raising of Lazarus.
Where to watch The Chosen
The first three seasons of the show are available to Netflix subscribers. Some episodes are available on Globoplay. The series is also broadcast on the SBT channel and can be watched for free online, on the official website of The Chosen.
The first two episodes of the fourth season will have a special screening in theaters starting March 21, but there is no date yet for the streaming arrival of the entire season.
The history of the elect
The series follows the story of Jesus Christ from the point of view of those who knew him and had contact with him. Currently, the series has four seasons, which follow the journey of Jesus and his followers in 1st century Galilee.
In the first season, Jesus forms his group of disciples and begins his ministry, performing miracles and meeting people from different backgrounds. In season two, he continues to form his group as he travels through neighboring regions, facing opportunities and hardships.
The third season shows Jesus returning to Capernaum and facing opposition from several social and political groups, culminating in the Sermon on the Mount. In season four, Jesus faces adversity as he heads to Jerusalem, with his disciples struggling to keep up with him.
