Paulinho scores against Venezuelans Caracas in the Libertadores
Atlético-MG beat Caracas-VEN 4-1 in the debut match of the Minas Gerais club in the group stage of the Copa Libertadores, this Thursday (04), away from home, at 19:30 (Brasilia time) . Striker Paulinho was the star of the match, scoring a brace in Atletica’s rout. The number 10 has had a decent start to the year and should gain more confidence as the season continues.
Galo played a confident game in this first match in the continental competition, also focusing on full-back Guilherme Arana and defender Bruno Fuchs, who directly contributed to the Bianconeri’s victory. The team opened 3-0 in the first half and managed to hold on to the game from then on.
