Hortense is faced with a dilemma
At the institute, Mehdi finds Hortense in the greenhouse to talk. He apologizes to her and admits that he was selfish when he needed her support. Hortense replies that she wasn’t perfect either. Mehdi, on the other hand, thinks that he behaved above reproach. In fact, he doesn’t know that Hortense and Anthony kissed each other the day before…
Later, Vicky calls Mehdi. As for the nudity spread, Vicky swears that it was just a way to separate Hortense and Anthony, as she found out that he had too much of an influence on her. But Vicki says she blames herself a lot. Mehdi comforts her, confident that Hortense will eventually forgive her.
Hortense works with her crew in the workshop. Tensions arise between Maya and Malik when they realize they are guarding the same entrance. Malick asks Hortense to decide between them, but the young woman is completely out of her element.
Hortense goes to CDI where Mehdi has to tell her that Anthony kissed her the other day. He adds that he kicked her out, but Mehdi immediately walks away. For her, this is proof that Hortense regrets leaving her ex. He then decides to go home and do his own thing so he can spend the weekend with his mother.
Afterwards, Hortense joins Anthony at a cafe downtown. She states that she should never have kissed him the day before, and then asks him to return to Bordeaux so that she can refocus on her life. Anthony respects her request and notes that she doesn’t seem happy in her marriage. Before leaving the place, he also adds how good he feels around her lately.
Back at the atelier, Hortense prepares a tasting of starters and the wedding main course for Clotilde and Joachim. The latter are considered by starters to be too classic for their taste. On the other hand, they are tempted by a dish… which was inspired by Anthony.
After the tasting is over, Clotilde comes to check on Hortense. The latter admits that she is completely disoriented not only after her father’s death, but also in relation to the two men she has feelings for. Clotilde advises him to follow his instinct to choose between the two.
Hortense then walks all the way through the institute to the parking lot where she stops the car she was about to leave. He begs the driver to stay… Mehdia or Antony?
Anais bluffs Chef Meyer
At the seminar, the master’s students welcome Chef Meyer, one of their speakers. Rose explains that her role will be to give them feedback on their concept and help them prepare for the oral. Chef Meyer immediately asks the students to present their project to him in a few words. Judy and Lionel talk about their anti-inflation restaurant. When it’s Anais’s turn, she admits that she started a zero-waste project, but is no longer convinced. He explains that he’s been working hard at Double A, so he hasn’t had time to think about it any further.
Later, Mayer admits to Teissier that he did not expect Anais’s project to be so light, even though he knows her talent. The school principal replies that Anais’ real project is Double A, where she continues to shine and innovate. He urges his colleague to see with his own eyes.
So Meyer goes to the kitchen to observe Anais during the service. He actually marks his progress from last year. However, at the end of the service, the chef realizes to Anais that her talents deserve a different project than Double A. He encourages her to think about what comes next and see bigger.
Tom is jealous of Thibault
At Gino’s class, Thibault and Billy are in pairs. Their complicity annoys Tom, who watches them from afar. When Guino arrives for a taste, then congratulates them on their work, Thibault suggests Billy go and celebrate by inviting him to a concert he was going to with Jasmine. Bill accepts his invitation.
Later, Tom asks Billy if he’s going to the concert with Thibault. She confirms this to him. Tom openly suspects Thibaut of taking advantage of them being on break and being dumped by Jasmine for flirting with Billie. Indeed, Tom does not believe in friendship between men and women. Billy corrects her and advises her not to apply what she’s about to all men. She reminds him that she was the one who recruited the girl on a dating app while they were still in a relationship.
In the cafeteria, Tom and Lionel bump into Jasmine and Kelly about friendship between men and women. Boys claim that it is impossible, but girls think otherwise. They also turn his theory against Tom, underscoring his reputation as the institution’s greatest enemy.
