Sonic 2 delights us with a post-credit scene that is not bitten by beetles, announcing the arrival of a new hero well known to gamers.
Released in theaters on March 30, Sonic 2 introduces two new Sega video game characters: Tails and Knuckles.
Spoiler Warning !!!
At the end of the movie, another remarkable figure of the games appears on the post-credit scene: Shadow!
After defeating Robotnik, Sonic and his friends return to the Emeralds of Chaos and embark on new adventures. The credits are scrolled and then we find the sequence located on the battlefield of the final scene.
The commander of the army specifies that the body of the robotnik has not been found, which indicates that the latter has survived and will return to the 3rd opus with the blue hedgehog.
The young soldier then launches a secret project led by a bad guy, a project that has just been activated. The commander, who was frightened, immediately understands and specifies that he is talking about the Shadow project.
Then we see this character who looks like Sonic but in a red jacket soaked in red. He falls asleep and the camera approaches his face. The shot ends with menacing eyes.
A kind of enemy of Sonic, Shadow first appeared in Sonic Adventure 2 on the Sega’s Dreamcast console. He has a violent nature and most of the time prefers to be alone.

Shadow was so successful with the fans that the Japanese firm dedicated all this to the game: Shadow the Hedgehog. It was released in Europe on November 18, 2005 for the PlayStation 2, GameCube2 and Xbox.
This black and red hedgehog is especially appreciated by saga lovers. So it is no surprise that he is an important element of the upcoming 3rd part of Sonic.
Physically, the Shadow looks very much like a blue hedgehog, except for a few differences, including, of course, its color, the orientation of the peaks, and its movement.
He has rocket skates that give the impression that he is sliding on the asphalt as if he were rolling on wheels. Confrontation between two characters can lead to explosive scenes in Sonic 3.
In any case, our super fast little hero can count on tails and knuckles to look in the shadows!
