Actress Kate Winslet will star in another HBO production after winning an Emmy for “Mare of Easttown”. She will star in “Trust”, a miniseries based on the novel of the same name by Hernan Diaz.
The costume drama follows a millionaire who is dissatisfied with a novel based on his life and decides to hire a secretary to write his version of events in order to publish his own memoir. The secretary, however, is uncomfortable realizing that he is rewriting history – and his famous wife’s place in it.
Presented from different angles, “Trust” is described as a narrative puzzle that subverts the perception of truth and who can define it.
There is still no date for the premiere of the attraction, which will begin production only after Winslet shoots his project: “Lee,” a biopic about Lee Miller, a fashion photographer who became a famous war correspondent.
