Jakob Toretto’s interpreter commented on rumors of disagreement between colleagues behind the scenes of the Fast & Furious franchise
In an interview with podcastArmchair Experthosted by actor Dax Shepard, John Cenawhich interprets Jacob Toretto in the franchise Fast and furiouscommented on the rumors about the fight between his co-stars, Vin Diesel It is Dwayne Johnson.
“There are certainly rumors about that. I can’t deny them. You have two very focused people, alphas”, Scene pondered [via People]. “You have two [alfas], [mas] There can only be one.”
The fights between Diesel and Johnson go back a long way and were even reflected in the filming of the franchise’s films. In Fast and Furious 6, for example, the actors had to record a scene in which their characters, Dom Toretto It is Luke Hobbs, they talked face to face. However, they refused to share a studio and the scenes were shot separately, which ended up resulting in a bizarre scene. Remember:
The same issue was repeated in other films from the production until Dwayne Johnson leave the franchise, which stars Vin Diesel since the first film, released in 2001. However, despite the friction, Hobbs should return in the last of the franchise, Fast & Furious 10 – Part 2which is scheduled to hit theaters in 2025.
The character of Johnson returned in a post-credits scene Fast & Furious 10released in May 2023. Next, a team of agents invades a building behind Dante Reyes (Jason Momoa, Aquaman 2: The Lost Kingdom), current villain of the franchise.
One of the agents walks around the place and finds a cell phone. When serving you, we heard Dante saying that, despite Toretto having caused the accident involving his father, Hernan Reyes (Joaquim de Almeida, Hire Killer), in Fast & Furious 5: Operation Rio (2011), another person was responsible for the criminal’s death.
Then we see a flashback of the scene mentioned by Dante and the agent takes off the mask that covers his face, revealing that he is Hobbs. “I’m not hard to find, you son of a bitch!”, says the agent, before destroying the phone with his bare hands. Check out the scene:
