Amy Winehouse’s ex-husband reacts to the singer’s biopic: ‘Therapeutic’

‘Back to Black’, a biopic of Amy Winehouse starring Marisa Abela, premiered in the United States last Friday, 12

Fielder-Civil is interpreted by Jack O’Connellactor who emerged on television through the series Skins.

“Not in the sense of being left aside or softened, as has been said… Just in the sense that it wasn’t just about the addiction,” he continued Blake. “Although the headlines were nasty and the paparazzi showed that addiction was addressed, it was just one aspect.”

“The problem is that the story that has been perpetuated, or the narrative, is something that I understood very quickly that it was not in the best interest of the cast and crew of the film to repeat.”

Fielder-Civil further added that O’Connell contacted him “out of respect”. Part of the public and critics point out, however, that the former partner of Winehouse was painted as a “Disney prince”.

“I wanted Mitch saw that there was genuine love there, I love Amy“, said Blakeciting the father of the artist played by Marisa Abela. “She loved me too. If there was something that would bring her back, I would do it, obviously.”
