The 2024 WGA Awards, Hollywood’s screenwriters’ union, has announced the winners of this year’s awards. In terms of television, Succession it was one of the highlights. In the cinema categories, The rejected AND American fiction won awards.

In the cinema categories, two top films of the season were awarded: The rejected was recognized as best original screenplay, despite accusations of plagiarism against author David Hemingson; AND American fiction won best adapted screenplay.
