The plot, based on real events about the hijacking of flight HK 1274, which on May 30, 1973, took off from the city of Pereira in Colombia to Medellín, spent more than 55 hours in the air.

Where is Guarani spoken by the villains of ‘Hijacking of Flight 601’?
It is the Guarani language, which is an indigenous language spoken in many South American countries, such as Paraguay, where about 6.5 million people use it as their mother tongue. This has survived the passage of time and has been preserved by the indigenous communities that speak it. It is a language that has a rich history and culture behind it, and that continues to be spoken and used today, even though it may not seem like it.
In Argentina, Guaraní is spoken in areas in the northeast of the country, such as the provinces of Corrientes, Misiones, Formosa, parts of the eastern province of Chaco, and in isolated parts of the Entre Ríos. In the end, they both use a common language to communicate in addition to Spanish, which gives a unique connection between them, which is vital to making the hijacking of Flight 601 happen.
Although many would think that the inclusion of this language was a positive thing, it turns out that an entire Internet debate was created about the pronunciation of Guaraní by actors Valentín Villafañe and Alián Devetac, because although some expressed that actors from the Argentina and Brazil respectively, many others expressed the opposite and that they should have studied the language better.
