How good is the iPhone 15 Pro camera?

The camera set of the iPhone 15 Pro is one of the best for taking photos among mobile phones currently available. The 48MP main, 12MP ultrawide and 12MP telephoto sensors record images with similar quality in different scenarios. The biggest flaw are the photos with low light.

In outdoor environments and even well-lit interiors, Apple cell phone cameras take excellent photos. The texture level is very good and the dynamic range is excellent. The colors are very accurate, although there is a saturation that makes them strongly vivid and may not suit everyone’s tastes.

But there is an option to use ProRAW to edit freely if you want. I think Apple’s idea is to provide photos ready for use on social media. This more vivid style is what most people like and many tend to modify it to give that extra pop to the colors.

Night photos are a few steps down from the SAMSUNG they can deliver with their mobile phones. It wouldn’t be so bad to be a little behind – especially since I don’t see other manufacturers competing with the South Korean manufacturer in this regard – if it weren’t for the fact that it would lose to the middleman. A55 Galaxy in some scenarios.

It’s worth noting that aside from the camera zoom, the 15 Pro’s setup is the same as the iPhone 15 Pro Max. The larger model has 5x optical zoom, compared to the more compact model’s 3x. The quality is the same, what really changes is the focal length.

In any case, the iPhone 15 Pro has photos of similar quality to that of professional cameras. And even the night ones are better than the average smartphone.

Does the iPhone 15 Pro take good selfies?

The front camera has a quality close to the main one. The dynamic range and textures are at an excellent level, and the colors tend to be more saturated for a more “ready” photo.

Some issues I’ve noticed: In some scenarios, skin tone can appear very different. I have lighter skin and noticed that in some photos my face was artificially red. Also, night selfies are very difficult to get. And a third problem is concentration, which strangely is sometimes lost.
