Eve, from Embraer, signs a letter of intent to sell up to 50 eVtol

Eve, Embraer’s vertical take-off and landing urban air vehicle (eVtols) company, announced on Wednesday the signing of a document to sell up to 50 aircraft to Japan’s AirX.

The company announced that the letter of intent includes 10 firm orders from eVtols and 40 rights to purchase the company’s aircraft.

Last year, Eve announced that its first eVtols factory will be built in Taubaté (SP). The company has started assembling the first full-scale prototype, which will continue the test campaign. Eve has signed letters of intent to purchase nearly 3,000 units of the aircraft, which is scheduled to enter service in 2026.
