The long-awaited final episodes, Volume 2 of Season 4 of “Stranger Things”, arrive this Friday (July 1st) and we have separated everything we know about them so far from the Netflix series.
In the final episodes of what is the penultimate season of the series, young Hawkins will have to face the threat of Vecna, whose identity was revealed in the final episode of Volume 1. Size and duration
While volume 1 of the season had seven episodes, now volume 2 will have only two, but with one detail: the episodes will be the largest ever seen in the entire series. These are exactly the episodes that series director Shawn Levy said are the size of a movie, and indeed will be.

In season 4, Hawkins faces a new enemy: the Vecna, another creature named by friends after a character from Dungeons & Dragons. The danger escalates and this time those who remain in Hawkins don’t have the help of Eleven, who has moved to California and then ended up in a secret facility with the sinister Dr. Brenner, trying to regain his powers.
So, they need every possible way to try to escape from Vecna, protect those of this being whose identity is linked to the origin of Eleven and past murders committed in the city, and try to defeat him. The theme of Volume 1 and the new character Eddie is also tied to a phenomenon called Satanic Panic.

What will happen?
Well, the short answer would be: we’ll see. But several people involved in the series have already given interviews talking about what we can expect from volume 2 and you can tell that things are not going to go smoothly.
Series director Shawn Levy, for example, has already stated that the episodes “will hit you in the heart”. “There is a lot to write about the length of these episodes and particularly the robust length of episode nine.
