A Better Life Preview: Episode Summary for Friday, July 1, 2022 [SPOILERS]

Abdel confirms to Elisa that Marco received evidence of Vincent’s crime, even though he has yet to see the footage with his own eyes. Elisa thinks she should call the police and that her father should go to jail for ordering the murder.

Abdel joins Tim and Barbara to watch Marco’s footage. He immediately recognizes his father and forbids Tim from showing the video to anyone. He also informs Elisa of her failure and asks her to behave normally with her father. Abdel finds Etienne, his father’s friend, to find out if the latter has taken over the business. Under threat, Etienne admits that Karim has been working at Vincent Marceau for about six months.

In turn, Tim finishes editing a documentary incriminating Vincent Marceau. He is ready to release her immediately, but Barbara convinces him to wait for Abdel’s green light.

He finally confronts his father, who admits that it happened again. He explains that he only wanted to intimidate Barbara and thought that Vincent would eventually finish the job. He swears that he will never hurt his son, but Abdel is very disappointed by his betrayal. He hesitates to report to the police…

After spending two days in the countryside with Simon, Eric returns to the city. Before leaving, he finally confesses his feelings to his lover. At the police station, Ariane notices that her colleague is on a high, even forgetting his gun while they’re hiding. Eric entrusts him with his happiness.

At the hideout, while Ariane goes to buy food, Eric is distracted by a message from Simone. Thus, it does not pay attention to the customer who enters, then leaves the flea market. When Ariane is about to give chase, Eric arrives as reinforcements, but it’s too late. The suspect fled.

Back at the police station, Eric is told by Jean-Paul, who threatens to fire him. But Eric admits to Ariane that he doesn’t really care.

Bastien continues to worry about Sunalee’s aggressive and reserved behavior. Luna always believes that the boy is behind it all. He advises his companion to be alert and attentive.

Meanwhile, Sunale admits to Dimitri that she kept Natacha’s phone. In his contacts, he noticed the contacts of Rudy and Nathan. Dimitri admires Sunalei’s courage. Ready to kiss her, the young man is delighted and leaves, declaring that they must never see each other again.
