With a promise of pure fun for children, Beat the Phantom is based on the classic by Maria Clara Machado and with a screenplay by Caca Mouthéthe author’s niece, e José Lavigne, and is scheduled for the first time on July 21. Made in a live film, it shows the story of a little ghost, Pluft (Nicolas Cruz), who lives with his mother (Fabiula Nascimento) in an abandoned villa. Away from everyone, the little ghost is very afraid of humans.
However, the scary little ghost will have to overcome his insecurity when he meets a girl, Maribel (Lola Belli), who needs help. There will be an unexpected friendship, despite the shock of the two when they first meet. From that moment on, the two will bond and live many adventures.
As the premiere date approaches, the production has released, in addition to the official trailer, two scenes that will show a little bit of what this adventure will be like on the big screen. In one of them we see the moment when the dangerous pirate Perna-de-Pau (Juliano Cazarré) captures little Maribel. In the other, the clumsy sailors Sebastião (Arthur Aguiar), João (Luca Salles) and Giuliano (Ugo Germano).
To conclude the story, the original soundtrack was signed by Tim Rescala and was performed by Frejat, Simone Mazzer, by Coral da Gente with the Symphony Orchestra of Heliópolis and the UFRJ children’s choir, accompanied by piano, violins, flutes, double basses. , percussion, drums and trumpet.
