It’s been a few weeks since the couple created by Alain (Frederic van den Driesche) and Elisabeth (Christel Labaud) in Un si grand soleil has been in trouble. The latter actually decided to end the relationship after his partner’s betrayal.
He cheats on her with the mysterious Ava, a young woman who turns out to have been hired by Catherine to spy on her rival. And since then, Allen has drowned his sorrows at work. Unfortunately, the doctor gets tired of being chained by the guards at the hospital… his life is in danger.
In the episode of Un si grand soleil this Wednesday, April 24, Janet notices that her friend is getting more and more tired. He is at a loss for words and has a hard time watching them talk. The doctor then advises him to go and rest, as he is afraid of endangering his patients.
Allen decides to follow her advice and goes to the break room. Unfortunately, on the way he fell down and felt weak.
Will Allen die?
Fortunately, Allen survives the heart attack, as we discover at the beginning of Thursday’s April 25 episode. The doctor was indeed a victim of Taco-tsubo, better known as Broken Heart Syndrome.
This heart problem is caused by stress caused by severe emotional shock. Fortunately, Allen will have no after-effects. However, Janet puts him in an induced coma to help him recover as quickly as possible. He also wakes up at the end of the episode, much to Elizabeth and Flora’s happiness.
Reconciliation for the couple
This new trial will primarily allow the Alain/Elisabeth couple to reconcile. Frederik van den Driessche thus confided during an interview given to our colleagues at Télé Poche that “Not only is it not over, it’s even a new beginning as Allen is about to propose to Elizabeth“.
An event that fans of the series are obviously looking forward to. “If this wedding takes place, it will be a firework of love and joy– promised Christel Labaud, before adding:Unless the authors have planned a last-minute twist. You will find out this summer“.
