With the kids at home, nothing better than a selection in the streams at the marathon.

The holidays are knocking on the door and there is nothing more right than having a few movies to watch with the kids and the whole family. From Afternoon Session-style movies to award-winning animations, our list has titles for every taste:

Netflix:

Chicken Chicken and the dark hamster

In this film, a brave young explorer teams up with two trusted friends to find a magical artifact before his greedy uncle gets his paws on it.

yes day

That delightful movie to watch with everyone in the living room! Always used to saying “no” to children, these parents decide to relax the rules in a day full of ideas and lots of fun.

marmaduke

This animation tells the story of Marmaduke, a friendly but very loud Great Dane. Will he do well at a dog show?

Pets 1 and 2

Pets has been a hit in the movies and continues to be on Netflix. The first film follows two pet dogs who decide to work together to stop a gang of animals in a plot against humans. The sequel is even better, taking the charismatic characters on a new adventure.

Disney +

Raya and the last dragon

Long ago, in the fantasy world of Kumandra, humans and dragons lived together in harmony. But when an evil force threatened the earth, the dragons sacrificed themselves to save humanity. Now, 500 years later, the same evil has returned and it is up to a lone warrior, Raya, to track down the legendary last dragon to restore the destroyed land and his divided people. However, along her journey, she will learn that it will take more than one dragon to save the world, it will also take trust and teamwork.

Luca

Set in a beautiful coastal village on the Ligurian Riviera, “Luca”, an original Disney and Pixar film, is the story of a boy who is having an unforgettable summer filled with ice cream, pasta and endless scooter rides. Luca (voice of Jacob Tremblay) shares these adventures with his new best friend Alberto (voice of Jack Dylan Grazer), but all the fun is threatened by a closely guarded secret: they are otherworldly sea monsters just below the surface of the sea. . “Luca” is directed by Oscar® nominee Enrico Casarosa (“La Luna”) and produced by Andrea Warren (“Lava”, “Cars 3”).

Red Crescer is a Beast

This is one of the best films released in recent times. The animation follows Mei Lee, a 13-year-old girl who begins to transform into a giant red panda whenever she gets excited. Dedicated and successful in her goals, Mei Lee is a girl who excels at school and at home. Her group of faithful friends always support her and share with her her fanaticism for the band 4 * Town. At home, Mei is an obedient and motivated keeper of the Lee family’s ancestral temple. She happily works together with her mother, Ming. But her sudden and magical transformation of her into one of her changes everything forever, as she becomes more vulnerable, chaotic and, at the same time, authentic. In the film, the creators of the new Disney and Pixar film surrounded the teenager with very special family and friends, with personalities that complement and contrast with the 13-year-old.

Charm

Encanto, by Walt Disney Animation Studios, tells the story of the Madrigals, an extraordinary family that lives hidden in the mountains of Colombia, in a magical home, in a vibrant city, in a wonderful place known as Encanto. The magic of this spell has blessed every boy and girl in the family with a unique gift, from super strength to the power to heal. Everyone except Mirabel. But when she discovers that the magic surrounding the spell is in danger, Mirabel decides that she, the only madrigal without magical powers, could be the last hope of her exceptional family.
