This is where it all begins: Louis’ dirty trick that will change everything for the Institute

For the past few weeks, Rose (Vanessa Demowey) has been concentrating on a new project from Here It All Begins: the creation of a two-year master’s degree at the Auguste Armand Institute that will allow graduates to complete their training and pursue more specialties. Before entering professional life.

A way for the writers to breathe new life into Rose’s character, but also and above all to keep third-year characters like Salome (Aurelie Pons), Anais (Julie Sasost), Enzo (Azize Diabate) and Charlene in the series. (Pola Petrenko), who has to say goodbye to school this summer.

“This is an idea we had and we acted on it this winter”It All Begins Here Producer Sara Farrahmand recently confided in us about this mastermind. “We asked ourselves: what are we doing? Have we circled these characters? Today we have four who are in their final year. Will all four do the trick? We have to watch it to find out. Are other students going to join them in their Masters? it’s an opportunity”.

“We haven’t been told everything about Anais, Charlene, Enzo and Salome yet. We thought for a minute and said they were going to start a restaurant. This is an idea we abandoned because it risked having a story inside. story. We had a lot of Glee references (…). In Glee, they did. It really felt like there were two parallel stories that didn’t have that many links (from season 4, editor’s note). And it wasn’t something we thought was a good idea for a daily series.”.

And while the Master was still only a hypothetical project and Clotilda (Elsa Lungini) finally confronted her sister and tried everything to block her, we finally know if this new course will see the light of day here, it all begins, thanks. Excerpt from Monday July 4th episode Presented in advance by TF1. And as always, nothing goes as planned!

In order to stop Rose and, she says, preserve the original DNA of the institute, Clotilda announced to her sister that the establishment of this master was subject to a vote by the heirs of Auguste (Francis Huster), as stipulated in the school’s rules. And Chef Armand apparently turned to Louis (Fabian Wolfrom), his half-brother, hoping to get him on board with his cause and convince him to vote for the Master.

But Louis, who always has an idea in his head, clearly seized the opportunity and made a deal with Clotilda: in exchange for her vote against Rose’s idea, he informed her that he wanted a job as a chef in a prestigious New York restaurant. where Teissier (Benjamin Barochet) has already placed a former student. This means that Clotilda had to convince Emmanuelle to talk to the head of the restaurant so that he can replace the chef Louis on the spot.

Obviously, Chief Teissier would refuse such blackmail. And so Clotilde will fall over when she discovers what Louis has in store for her. In the excerpt in question, three of Auguste’s heirs meet at Double A to continue voting.

“So who do I prefer? It’s hard.”In a mocking tone, Louis addresses his sisters, who continue to cry for their master. “Listen, I will ask you only one thing, and that is to reflect with all sincerity to find out whether this master’s degree can be a real plus for the institute”Rose asks the young chef, hoping to see him follow her on this new course.

“Or if this is a trick to tarnish the image of our prestigious culinary school”In turn, Clotilde adds a counterattack. “Because that’s what we do at the base, right? Not food truck courses and startup accounting”.

The voting then begins, and Clotilda thinks she can enjoy her victory when she realizes that only Rose is raising her hand to indicate that she is voting for the Master’s Project. But the misunderstanding is Louis, who decided not to keep his word and finally raised his hand at the last moment to stand on Rose’s side.

“What are you doing? I thought you thought it was absurd”Louis is sent by a completely shocked Clotilda. “I’ve been thinking since”Then his brother answers. “I said to myself that some students needed help and that this master’s degree would be very good for them”.

The excerpt from “Here It All Begins” doesn’t say what made Louis change his mind: did he want to pay Clotilda back for Emanuele’s refusal to help him get a job as a chef in New York? Or was he convinced by the arguments of Charlene, who in Monday’s episode is going to explain to her boyfriend the reasons why she wants to join the Masters at the beginning of the school year.

Anyway, by two votes to one, “Master verified”, Rose declares to her brother and sister at the end of the sequence. I am glad that his project has finally come to fruition.

Of course, you should never predict anything, this is where it all starts, where the turns follow each other at lightning speed. But everything indicates that from the beginning of the academic year, the institute will indeed welcome a course full of new promises. Which should undoubtedly change a lot for the series and its characters. But also for the new faces joining the master?
