Britney Spears ends legal dispute with her father

Last Thursday (25th), the singer Britney Spears he finally resolved a legal dispute with his father, Jamie Spearsmore than two years after the end of his guardianship.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Britney’s lawyer, Mathew S. Rosengart, said the dispute between the two was resolved in Los Angeles Superior Court, but stressed that the terms of the settlement were confidential.




“Even though the conservatorship ended in November 2021, the desire [de Britney] of freedom is now truly complete. He loves his daughter very much and everything he did was protect and support her. It’s a shame that some irresponsible people in life Britney chose to drag this on for so long,” Jamie’s lawyer, Alex Weingarten, told People magazine.

It is worth mentioning that the pop star’s 13-year conservatorship ended in November 2021. Just a month later, People magazine revealed that Jamie, her former guardian, had filed court documents demanding that Britney pay her legal fees, beyond “Ongoing fiduciary obligations related to the dissolution of guardianship of the individual and the state.
