“First time without my parents!” : Ethann Isidore recalls filming La Recrue

Set in and around Biarritz, this feature allows new star Ethan Isidore (who we saw on the big screen in the fifth Indiana Jones adventure alongside Harrison Ford) to show off his comedic but also dramatic talents.

During the production of six episodes of the minor La Recrue, the teenager explains to AlloCiné how the shooting happened to him when he was under 18. In fact, the schedule and on-site organization were designed specifically for him, since he was not yet an adult…

Ethan Isidore recalls:Since I’m over 16, it’s not exactly the same restrictions I had before. For example, I was able to be here more often with the team. When I was younger, there was definitely a barrier that was set up, and that’s okay.“

“I don’t really feel like I’m working on a set”

“My parents used to be there a lot. La Recrue was the first time I was alone on the set! I was with one person from the team who took care of me because I’m still underage, but after I graduated. 16, it wasn’t my parents at all.”The actor is happy.

“I was taking lessons on the side. I would shoot during the week and do whatever homework I had time to do in the evening. The weekend was dedicated to schoolEthan Isidore in detail. It wasn’t a regular schedule, but mostly from 10:00 to 12:00, Saturday and Sunday, I had classes.“
