Stranger Things: Watch videos of 15 songs from Part 2

After the release of Kate Bush’s “Running Up That Hill”, the soundtrack for part 2 of “Stranger Things 4” was anticipated as the final episodes.

Track selection this time turned towards synth sounding songs – but ironically, without any example of 80s synthpop.

And although he returned to play “Max’s theme” – as well as “Dream a Little Dream of Me”, by Ella Fitzgerald (theme by Vecna) -, the song that most marked the plot was the heavy metal of “Master of Puppets “, accompanied on guitar by Eddie Munson (character of Joseph Quinn).

The Metallica classic was also the only 1986 recording featured on the entire track for chapters 8 and 9 of the attraction. The plot takes place in that year, but most of the selected songs came out in previous years and some even after this period.

As a curiosity, the last song he plays, already in the credits, ends up attracting attention among the old pop recordings to belong to an alternative style hitherto ignored by the series, despite having everything to do with the turning point of terror of the current phase: “Spellbound”, from the most gothic album of Siouxsie and the Banshees.
