Leah has a mission
Leah goes to the office of her colleague, Dr. Mehdi Buraui, to ask him for advice. Indeed, he should write a speech for the mayor in honor of the completion of the construction site that will follow the demolition of buildings in Marseille.
The psychologist suggests that she remember this tragedy, but Leah replies that she does not need therapy. And for good reason, he doesn’t feel as disturbed as the other residents of the neighborhood. In addition, this feeling makes him feel guilty.
Mehdi advises Leah to put herself in the other person’s shoes to write this speech in a sincere and heartfelt way. Leah suddenly had an idea: she wants to write a text with the help of an artificial intelligence application. The psychologist is confused, this is definitely not what he was hoping for.
Blanche confronts her past
Blanche in turn goes to Mehdi’s office. The psychologist notices that he is not wearing a watch. Reason ? He put it in his bag to be repaired. He hopes the facility will continue to function as before, as if the buildings had never collapsed.
Mehdi advises Blanche to leave the watch at home for the next session. Will he succeed? At the end of the consultation, Blanche goes to the reception to make the next appointment.
He is overheard talking about a famous speech with Leah Mehdi. A curious Blanche asks the doctor what it’s all about, and Leah explains that there will be a ceremony to honor the people who died in this tragedy.
Mehdi offers Blanche to help Leah write the speech because it might be a good exercise. The doctor feels uncomfortable, but against all odds, Blanche takes on this mission, which turns out to be very difficult.
A few minutes later, the two women meet again for work. Blanche plays a game and writes some sentences on a piece of paper. When she reads it, Leah will feel so good because she will believe it. Blanche confides in Leah that she is traumatized by the events. So the doctor tells him that he better start the next day.
In the evening we find Blanche sitting on a chair with a watch in her hand. He tries to face the past by crying. Will he succeed?
Aya is in danger
Thomas visits Killian in the penitentiary center. He asks if he was threatened or beaten, and the young man answers that he was attacked by a prisoner in the corridors of the prison. He is afraid of this man and asks his brother to remain a secret.
That’s not all, Killian warns Thomas that Karine, Betty’s mother, knew the prisoner and may be the person who threatened him. Thomas tries to calm his brother and promises: “You have my word, this nightmare is almost over.”
At the police station, Ariane informs Jean-Paul that she is now convinced that Betty was lying and that she is still alive. And for good reason, her phone records reveal that she spent ten minutes with her mother on April 25, despite her insistence that she had no further information from her daughter.
Moments later, Samuel enters the office and alerts his colleagues that Betty’s thumb, index and ring finger prints have been taken at the gas tap of the bar-restaurant Le Mistral. Did the young woman want to kill Thomas?
Later, Ariane informs Samuel and Jean-Paul that Killian was threatened by a prisoner. At the same time, Samuel receives the results of Betty’s prints and they date back to her disappearance. The three police officers now have proof that the young woman is alive and that Killian is innocent.
Police immediately went to Carine Solano’s home. All rooms are searched from top to bottom. Suddenly Ariane is interested in a piece of furniture. Pushing it, he discovers a hidden room in the basement.
This is probably Betty’s room. The police removed DNA traces from the bed sheets. In addition, they discover a mysterious blood sample, as well as a blonde wig.
Karine Solano is trapped and forced to confess the truth. In a trembling voice, he announces that his daughter has run away to Paris, but plans to go to Montreal. The race against the uphill has begun for the police.
At the same time, at Masalia’s residence, Aya goes to her room. Suddenly he feels a gun being pointed at him. This is Betty Solano. Will Aya be kidnapped? Answer in the following episodes of the day.
