Movie Quiz: Only a true Quentin Tarantino fan will score 8/8!

Just twenty years ago, Quentin Tarantino released his fifth feature film, Kill Bill: Volume 2, which closed the diptych of Black Mamba’s (Uma Thurman) adventures, the first part of which was released the previous year.

A new feature film for one of the most popular directors of the moment (which gave him the biggest regret of his life), after the announcement of Reservoir Dogs in 1992, the Palme d’Or for his next film Pulp Fiction in 1994 and confirmation with Jackie Brown, was released in 1997.

In honor of this anniversary, here’s a quiz to look back at some of the most memorable moments from Kill Bill: Volume 2. But before you get down to the nitty-gritty, some secrets from the filming.

Did you know?

Thurman – Tarantino reunion

In 1994, in Pulp Fiction, Uma Thurman played Mia Wallace, Ving Rhames’ girlfriend, who was addicted to cocaine and suffered an overdose. Nine years later, she reunited with Quentin Tarantino for Kill Bill.

Thurman is pregnant, filming has been postponed

In the spring of 2001, while all the sets were ready and the team was ready, it was reported that Uma Thurman was expecting a child. Tarantino cannot imagine the film without his favorite artist and is delaying the filming. Despite the insistence of the studio Miramax, who are already putting the name of Patricia Arquette as a replacement for the actress, the director does not give up.

No Pei Mei for QT

Initially, the director gave himself the role of Pei May in the film Kill Bill: Volume 2, but given the expectations of him as a director, he refused in favor of Gordon Liu.
